Inspiration From A Prisoner

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Our ministry would like to share with you this powerful letter we received. It is written by an individual who is currently incarcerated and corresponds with our ministry.

We want to highlight the impact that even a small act can have on someone who is far removed from society.

Those who support and work for this ministry touch souls like these everyday.

May God have mercy on all of us and may we all recognize our sins against Him.

Orthodox Christian Prison Ministry:

I am writing this letter to show my appreciation to your correspondence courses, and also let you know- I want to say your Ministry is impacting people in a special way. It’s not just the correspondence courses but the little things the ministry sends in the mail like the holiday cards, that joke about the people who had to jump out the plane. People in here need things to keep their mind busy, hope, and to smile. When we get unexpected mail it is VERY appreciated. One thing I Love is when I see my name of a printed paper. That shows that the ministry takes the extra time and effort to treat inmates as individuals instead of like a group or a statistic. Also, when I see a signature in pen – to me that shows dignity/respect. Just let all who work-volunteer and spend the time to put all this together are highly thought of and prayed for. This letter is my heartfelt words to say thank you and keep up the good work! God Bless all who are part of the Orthodox Christian Prison Ministry. Amen.

You can copy or share this letter in any way, shape, or form.

Robert

P.S. Also I Love how a candle is lit for me at your service you attend!! Big Thanks
